The room had good storage. It was great to have a separate seating area. The modern reception and bar area downstairs were nice. I liked that this hotel was not too far from the city centre. It was a short walk to Clifford Tower.

The pool had pre booked sessions only. It was annoying you could only book 25 minute sessions. The pool was not fully available , a disappointment.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. A comfortable bed ensured i got a great night's sleep. The room included a good sized double bed and two small beds suitable for children and tweens. The room would be perfect for families.

The breakfast buffet offered wide varieties. The food was lovely, scrummy and very tasty. The service charge of 12.5% is automatically added to restaurant bills. This is mentioned on the menu, but it is hard to spot.

The hotel is very close to the city centre and convenient for the university. The hotel boasts a great location near the York barbican. It is near the river and recreational areas, yet close to the city centre.

the room included coffee facilities and tea. breakfast has many choices to select. the bar and restaurant provide a nice space for relaxation. i liked the swimming pool a lot.

i saw some stains on the carpet within the room.

the hotel is near bus routes. i easily travelled to and from the hotel. it was simple to walk around the area and return safely in the evening. i found it amazing.

The location was really nice near the river. A short walk led to the centre. It was easy to get to with plenty of parking.

On arrival, I was told I had not paid. The young man did not accept it until he went into an office. He came out and said they had received the payment, but there was no apology. The lady who checked my partner in told us the payment was still excellent. We could have been charged for the room again if we weren't careful.
